From the rubber tree to Zeven

The basis for latex condom production is natural rubber latex, which is extracted from the bark of Asian rubber trees. That’s why condoms are often called rubbers. The starting product is a milky sap, which is then prepared for transport and brought to Germany.

Latex condom production at BILLY BOY

Once at our production facility in Zeven, the natural rubber latex is then processed in a technically complex process that involves stirring it for a long time and letting it mature for several days before the next stage.

The condoms are then powdered, individually electronically pre-tested, rolled, moistened and packaged airtight. Random samples are repeatedly taken for quality assurance.

All special variants, lubricants, aroma coatings and colours used for our BILLY BOY condoms are subject to extensive testing and comply with strict legal requirements.

Did you know? Condoms are medical devices and certified accordingly. Our latex condoms are also free of animal ingredients and therefore vegan.

100% Made in Germany

“Made in Germany” provides information about where our production facility is. Quality assurance is our top priority. From development to production, BILLY BOY latex condom production is therefore subject to the strictest criteria, which we can control and guarantee by using our own production facilities in Germany. Each condom is individually electronically tested and all BILLY BOY latex condoms are produced by MAPA in Zeven, making them “100% Made in Germany” & also vegan.
